Cigana again..Again a success!  (December 2, 2007)
We predicted a great season after his early promise in the Florida Ironman,and our expectations have not been disappointed! This weekend in Thailand, an impressive Massimo Cigana (aboard his equally impressive Liger 3K),conquered the top step of the podium of the Laguna Phuket Triathlon. The Italian athlete is on the way to confirming himself as a true star of the sport, with a particular talent on the bike. On Sunday, Dec. 2, on a 55K bike course (1.8K swim, 55K bike, 12K run), he crushed the hilly bike leg injust over an hour, 21 minutes - three and a half minutes faster than anyone else! Entering the run just one second ahead of his nearest competitor, heproved himself worthy of the win by stretching his final time advantage to more than a minute and a half. Cigana said after the race, "My mentalattitude on the bike was perfect; I felt myself to be unbeatable. Today that ended up becoming true!"
Max Lelli, on the exact date of his birthday, could not have received a better gift than the news of Cigana's success on board his Cinghialino Liger 3K.

Just burst on the scene, and it’s already attracting attention! (Novembrer 2, 2007)
We’re talking about the Liger 3K Triathlon, the new bike by Max Lelli dedicated to the grueling sport of triathlon. This bike is already showing itself capable of sustaining greatness, thanks to the excellent result by Massimo Cigana: the Italian athlete recently placed 5th in the Ford Ironman Florida riding the Max Lelli speed machine. In his first attempt at the Ironman distance and in the first marathon of his life, Cigana concluded the running portion of the event in just 2 hours, 54 minutes. Maintaining third position for much of the race, Cigana finally finished fifth to competitors of extensive experience. This impressive novice attempt has qualified Cigana for the Hawaii Ironman, creating the basis for a season that, to judge from the explosive beginnings, promises very bright results.
We congratulate and thank Massimo for this result that, beyond bringing to light his extraordinary abilities as an athlete, also confirms the quality and reliability of our bicycles. After all, they’re made expressly to facilitate the best possible performance from those who push themselves to shine. We think it’s safe to say that a star is born. Or rather, two stars!
